A Caddyshack Adventure At Holiday World's Holiwood Nights!

Today, we're at Holiwood Nights at Holiday World! This extraordinary event is a special gathering designed specifically for theme park enthusiasts, requiring participants to have a membership in a rollercoaster hobbyist park to attend. This exclusive event offers attendees the chance to enjoy a variety of exclusive ride times on numerous attractions throughout the park, savor complimentary meals, participate in an exciting auction featuring a wide range of Holiday World artifacts, and take part in behind-the-scenes tours of the park's restricted areas, which are usually off-limits to the general public. Each of these experiences contributes to a memorable and immersive atmosphere that truly celebrates the joy of amusement parks and roller coasters. On our first night, we enjoyed exclusive ride times on the thrilling slides at Splashin' Safari waterpark, adding an exciting element to our evening. Following this, we relished a delightful selection of small plates served by the wave pool, all cleverly themed around the beloved classic film, Caddyshack. The atmosphere was enhanced by the staff, who fully embraced the theme by dressing in outfits inspired by the movie, creating an engaging and entertaining environment that resonated well with the attendees. The combination of delicious food, exciting rides, and the playful Caddyshack theme made for a fantastic kickoff to the event.

The next day was filled with an exhilarating schedule that included a series of behind-the-scenes tours, an abundance of complimentary food options, thrilling ride challenges, and, of course, even more exclusive ride times! Our group had the incredible opportunity to explore behind the scenes of some of the park's most iconic attractions, including The Raven, The Legend, The Voyage, and Thunderbird. Each tour provided fascinating insights into the engineering and creativity involved in designing and operating these thrilling rides, deepening our appreciation for the hard work that goes into making these experiences possible. Later in the day, we participated in a fun and competitive water cup challenge on The Voyage, where we had to see how much water we could manage to keep in our red solo cups throughout the entire ride. The ride's twists and turns made it quite the challenge, and needless to say, I ended up with no water left by the end of the ride, much to the amusement of my fellow participants. In addition to the fun challenges, I was thrilled to win a couple of Raven flags that fly proudly at the top of the lift hill during the silent auction. These flags serve as a wonderful memento of the event and a reminder of the fantastic experiences we shared. Overall, if you ever have the chance to attend this event, we wholeheartedly recommend it! The combination of exclusive access, themed activities, and the camaraderie among fellow roller coaster enthusiasts creates an unforgettable experience that you won't want to miss. We did Trim less night rides on the Legend and then night rides on the Raven to end out the night

We Also Won some Flags that used to fly above the Ravens lift hill. With that, that's a wrap!
