Fun Spot Atlanta To Close Permanently
Fun Spot Atlanta announced today that it will permanently close on August 2, 2026. Consequently, the Arie Force One Rollercoaster, acclaimed as one of the premier steel hybrid rollercoasters, will also cease operations permanently. Despite the park's condition, Arie Force One is an exceptional ride. While we hope for the possibility of relocating the rollercoaster, there are currently no plans to do so. Carowinds Announces 2027 Attraction!
Carowinds has announced their new attraction for 2027, Rip Roarin' Falls! This water flume ride will break records with the world's tallest log flume drop, reaching 100 feet. It will include a drop with an airtime hill, two high-speed reverse switches, and will reach speeds of 50 miles per hour. The height requirement for this ride will be lowered to 35 inches. Waldameer Park Announces 2027 Rollercoaster, Eagle's Pursuit
Waldameer Park & Water World has unveiled plans for a new family launched roller coaster, scheduled to debut in the 2027 season. This attraction will feature two launches, a 60-foot elevation change, a top speed of 46 miles per hour, and will span 1,885 feet of track. The height requirement for the ride is set at 38 inches. Werewolf Gorge Announced for Six Flags Fiesta Texas!
Hey all, Six Flags Fiesta Texas has revealed their new rollercoaster set to debut in the 2027 season! This family launch coaster will feature 4,120 feet of track, making it the longest of its kind. It will offer 32 airtime moments, four high-speed launches, and reach speeds of up to 45 mph. The height requirement for this ride is only 39 inches, one of the lowest in the park. Fresh off our adventure at Adventureland yesterday, we decided to check out this newer park, which is less than five years old and owned by the neighboring Lost Island Waterpark. Canadas Wonderland Renames Flight Deck Roller Coaster For 2026
Canadas Wonderland has officially renamed their inverted looping roller coaster to, “The DareDeviler” for the 2026 season. The ride was previously known as Flight Deck and before that, Top Gun. Enhancements on this rollercoaster include track refinements as well as new trains with the best restraints. The trains will be coming from the Defunct Six Flags America. Knotts Berry Farm To Reopen Re-Imagined Montezoomas
Knotts announced today that after a few years, they will finally reopen the reimagined Montezoomas Revenge Roller Coaster this summer. The original ride was a flywheel launch rollercoaster from 1978 that catapulted riders 0 to 55 mph in 4 seconds through a 76 ft vertical loop and up a 70 degree spike before falling backwards, returning through the loop and flying through the station up another 70 degree spike before arriving into the breaks.
