A Day at SeaWorld Orlando

Hello all,

Today, we had a 4:00 flight to catch back home, and what better way to spend a half day than at SeaWorld! For many years, SeaWorld was primarily known for its aquatic shows and animal exhibits. However, in the early 2000s, they expanded their attractions by adding thrilling rides like Journey to Atlantis and Kraken. By the late 2010s, SeaWorld significantly increased its rollercoaster offerings, positioning itself as the emerging rollercoaster capital of the Orlando area as they shift focus away from traditional animal shows. With that, lets dive into the trip report!

We Have Arrived! On A Bit of a Time Crunch, Luckily the lines are not long today.

You go forward, then backward, the forward again to complete the rest of the layout. Honestly, the ride has some Gusto to it, and even though the trains are still not great with how low you cramped you are in the train, it is a step up coaster from the new Penguin Trek coaster to the bigger rides like Manta or Mako.

This section actually has some pretty great theming. There is a lot of Sesame Street Easter eggs scattered throughout the land.

This is basically the first modern day stand-up. This one is pretty unique due to the fact you can jump on the air time hills thanks to a unique vest restraint.

Overall, I enjoyed it, It was not as painful as the old standups like Mantis or Green Lantern. I could see this being added to other parks in the future.

Depending if you are a penguin enthusiast or not, this is the worse part of Penguin trek for me. You are forced to exit into the Penguin enclosure and then you are trapped in their for 10 minutes due to making sure the penguins don't escape. Needless to say it didn't smell to great.

With only 30 min left or so before needing to head off for a flight, I decided to cram in Journey to Atlantis and Kraken

This used to be the most themed ride at Seaworld until they removed most of the theming in a refurbishment. Now... Its pretty much just ruins, random Beetlejuice Music, and a drenched time!
