A Step Back In Time At Mackinaw Island

Hey All!

Today, we set sail from St. Ignace, taking the Arnold Transit ferry across to Mackinac Island—a quick, 30-minute crossing from shore to shore. Upon arrival, we wasted no time: we headed straight to a local bike shop to gear up for a two-hour exploration of the island. We powered through a scenic 8.2-mile loop, taking in the stunning coastline, iconic views of the Mackinac Bridge, and pristine beaches. The highlight, however, was the trek up the 200+ steps to Arch Rock! If you’re looking for the perfect blend of a leisurely ride and a bit of a challenge, this is an absolute must-do. We wrapped up our visit with some downtown shopping and sightseeing before catching the ferry back to the mainland. Check out our full photo report below to experience the trip with us!
