An Evening at The One Eyed Jacks Barcade

Hey all!
This evening, we're having dinner at One Eyed Jack's, a Barcade in Macomb County, MI, situated in the northern suburbs of Metro Detroit. The venue is renowned for its arcade and pinball machines, corn hole tournaments, golf simulators, and occasionally disc golf putting tournaments. Our main objective was to try the food. Once we sat down, we noticed a party atmosphere with loud music and frequent announcements. It didn't bother us much, but it's something to consider if you plan to visit on a weekend. The restaurant also featured impressive murals of classic video game characters. We started by ordering their Tater Kegs, which are large tater tots stuffed with bacon, chives, and cheddar cheese, topped with more bacon, house-made ranch, and scallions, and served with sour cream. These had a distinctive flavor; I wouldn't say they were the best, though. They forgot our side of sour cream, which might have been the reason. We then ordered our entrees. The first entree was the Dragon Slayer Burger, which included jalapeños, bacon, fried cheese, and the Ragin Cajun sauce. The second entree was the Cluckin Chicken Sandwich, featuring deep-fried chicken breast, lettuce, pickle, and mayo on a brioche bun. Both sandwiches tasted okay but weren't our favorites. I think the meat might have been a bit too dry in the sandwiches. Overall, the place seems like a great spot if you're going for drinks with friends, but I wouldn't say it's a must-visit for a meal. Let's dive into our rating and the photos below!
