Hey All!
Today, I am aboard the Oasis of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean vessel, enjoying a meal at Chops Grille - A New American Steakhouse. This restaurant is not included in the standard dining package for the cruise and requires an additional fee. Fortunately, I have a dining package that encompasses Royal Caribbean's specialty restaurants, allowing me to dine here on my first day at sea. The meal commenced with a bread service and house-made butter delivered to the table. The bread was exceptionally flavorful and tasted freshly baked, as did the butter. For my appetizer, I chose the Charred Beef Carpaccio, featuring rare charred beef, Parmesan cheese, arugula, and truffle mustard dressing. I was particularly impressed by the truffle mustard dressing, which complemented the charred beef and enhanced all the flavors exquisitely. Following the appetizer, I enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Soup. The soup broth was remarkable, and I could have easily indulged in multiple servings. However, I needed to reserve room for the entrée, which was The Prime Bone-In Ribeye served with Gruyere Cheese Tater Tots. The steak's flavor was outstanding! The Ribeye was cooked to perfection and was tender, truly one of the best steaks I've ever experienced. The Gruyere Cheese Tater Tots were also very flavorful. Finally, for dessert, I had the Key Lime Meringue Pie, which featured a homemade graham cracker crust. The pie had a delightful sweet key lime flavor, with the sweetness perfectly balanced. Overall, if you are seeking an exceptional dining experience during your cruise, significantly surpassing the dining room and buffet offerings, I highly recommend this establishment. The service is excellent, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
