Hey all!

Today, I'm finally visiting the Blue Cow in Big Rapids, MI. As I approach the end of my studies at Ferris State nearby, I've heard that this spot is popular for interviews with potential employers or for a special date night! Although I'm dining alone this time, I'm eager to share my experience, so let's dive in! The restaurant offers a fine dining wine bar atmosphere, featuring decor related to the local area and artwork on the walls. The ambiance was very welcoming, providing a warm and comfortable vibe. The menu is seasonal, ensuring there's always something new to try! Keeping my current college budget in mind, I went straight for the entree. I opted for the Champagne Chicken, which includes an organic chicken breast, pan-seared and finished with a champagne cream sauce, accompanied by parmesan risotto and a seasonal vegetable, which was asparagus. After I ordered, they provided bread service. The bread was fresh and tasted really good, as did the butter that accompanied it, which had a swirl-like appearance. Once the meal arrived, at the first bite, it was phenomenal, and the champagne truly enhanced the flavors. The risotto was creamy and very flavorful. Overall, this place is perfect if you have a little extra cash to spend and want some of the best food available while visiting Big Rapids or attending Ferris State for school or a conference.
