Ford Field Detroit Concert Experience

Ford Field in Detroit is the official NFL stadium for the Detroit Lions and occasionally hosts concerts when the audience size surpasses the capacity of Little Caesars Arena. Opened in 2002 after two and a half years of construction, the stadium can hold up to approximately 78,000 people. However, this capacity may decrease during concerts as many seats behind the centrally placed stage are closed off. Ford Field provides various seating options: you can be on the field during the concert, which is usually the most expensive choice, sit in the lower bowl, enjoy the comfort of padded Club seats, or choose the most affordable option in the upper bowl, also known as the nosebleeds. Unlike Little Caesars Arena, any seat in this area offers a view of the concert. It's just a matter of how far you are from the stage, which will affect your pictures or if you're trying to take any video of the concert. The food selection is quite good, with a variety of different stands offering various cuisines. If you are in Club Seats or a Suite, you have access to a private concession area on the second floor, exclusive to those seats. Check out some of our team's experiences at the arena below!
