JoJo's Shake Bar Amazing Shakes!

Hey All!

Hey, we're hanging out at JoJo's Shake Bar before catching the Bruno Mars concert at Ford Field! This spot is in a lively alley in the touristy District Detroit on Columbia Street. We wanted to get a table, but the line was too long, so we grabbed our shakes at the Pick Up Window instead. We're hoping to come back someday to try their dine-in experience. Ordering from the carryout window is super easy. There's a touchscreen next to the window where you can place and pay for your order. If you want to see the full menu, just check out the electrical box behind you; it's wrapped with their entire menu. They've got sandwiches, nachos, waffle fries, hot dogs, their famous pot pie, fish and chips, and some epic desserts, which is what drew us here. Inside, it feels like a throwback to the 80s and 90s. First up, we ordered the Girl Scout Shake, which comes with an Andes Mint Chocolate Shake, toasted marshmallow, a chocolate S'more, and a S'mores cookie. This shake alone is reason enough to come back. It's packed with goodies and gives a nice sugar rush without being too much; plus, the chocolate shake mix is super tasty! We also tried their classic chocolate shake with just Oreo, and while it's less of a sugar hit, it's really delicious! Overall, even though we didn't try the hot food, this place is a must-visit before a concert at The Fillmore or Fox Theater, or a game at Comerica Park, Little Caesars Arena, or Ford Field!
