Mineral Collection Lego Set

Today, we are evaluating the Lego Ideas Mineral Collection Set (#21362). Our interest in this set had been piqued for some time due to our passion for rocks, and it appeared ideal for enhancement with a lighting kit. Although priced at $59.99, which may seem somewhat steep, it is sufficiently compact to fit on a bookshelf and serves as a delightful decoration for a desk or any geology enthusiast. The assembly process presents a moderate challenge, given the numerous small pieces involved. The construction begins with the first display platform, featuring the golden pyrite and watermelon tourmaline. Subsequently, the second platform is assembled, showcasing the purple amethyst and reddish pink rhodochrosite. Finally, the third display case is built, highlighting the blue fluorite and tangerine quartz. Completion of this set takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and is particularly striking when paired with a lighting kit. For those new to building such sets, it serves as an excellent introduction to Book Nook projects or as a first Lego Ideas Set.
