Mom's Spaghetti In Downtown Detroit

Hey all!

Today, we're in Downtown Detroit attending a concert at Comerica Park! Nearby is a restaurant called Mom's Spaghetti. Located in an alley, it takes orders from a window next to the Fox Theater. The name might sound familiar, as it's inspired by a line from Detroit native Eminem's song "Lose Yourself" and the movie "8 Mile." The restaurant serves Eminem's mother's famous spaghetti. The menu is simple, offering spaghetti and meatballs (with a vegan option) or a spaghetti/Bolognese sandwich, all served in a Chinese take-out container. There's also a small area where you can eat inside and see displays of some Eminem merchandise from his music career. We tried the Spaghetti and Balls and found it to be just okay. It wasn't the best spaghetti I've had, but for street food, it wasn't too bad. If you're an Eminem fan, this is a destination worth visiting just for the name!
