Orchid Lego Botanical

Greetings everyone. Today, we will be reviewing the Lego Orchid Botanical Set (#10311). This set was among the first botanical collections we acquired, offering an introduction to the complexity Lego can present when constructing a plant from 608 pieces. Once accustomed to the repetitive nature of the set, the building process proved to be quite enjoyable.

Beginning with the assembly of the base, several technical components were utilized to form the structure of the plant's pot. The base features an appealing grey grooved surface. We then proceeded to construct the plant's stems and stalk. It is advisable to keep a Lego remover multi-tool nearby, as you might inadvertently place some structural pegs incorrectly. The construction of the leaves introduced a significant amount of repetition. To streamline this process, consider assembling all the leaves simultaneously, which can expedite the build. Finally, the assorted brown pieces included at the end are intended to represent wood chips. Overall, this set offers an enjoyable building experience, and at a price point of 49.99 USD, it provides excellent value. It also serves as an attractive decoration for a side table or buffet in your home.
