Rustic Dining At The Moose Preserve

Hey All!
Today, we’re dining at The Moose Preserve in West Bloomfield, MI. The atmosphere is fantastic—it truly feels like you’ve stepped into an 'Up North' hunting lodge. They’re well-known for their unique game dishes and incredible burgers, so we were excited to dig in.
We started with the Caprese from their limited-time special menu. It was served with large tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, a balsamic and olive oil blend, and a side of bruschetta-style bread. It was delicious, and if you see it on the menu during your visit, it’s a must-order!
For our entrees, we went with two of their standouts:
Manistee Burger: Featuring wagyu beef, Muenster cheese, onion jam, garlic aioli, tomato, and arugula (I opted to remove the arugula and tomato). The onion jam and garlic aioli provided the perfect flavor balance—it was fantastic.
Brie & Apple Grilled Cheese: This came with cinnamon-spiked, fire-roasted Fuji apples, Brie, sharp cheddar, arugula, and walnuts on marbled rye. The flavor combination was spot-on, and the cinnamon was subtle rather than overpowering.
We couldn't leave without trying their 'world-famous' chocolate chip cookies for dessert, and I have to admit—they lived up to the hype. You get six massive, warm cookies delivered right to your table, and they are the perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, we had a great experience at The Moose Preserve. It’s officially earned a spot in our regular dining rotation!
