Southern Brunch at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'

Hey all,

Today, we're enjoying brunch at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs. The restaurant features a variety of Southern-style dishes and cocktails. This review focuses on their breakfast menu and does not include their lunch or dinner options. We were seated on the outdoor deck with a view of the springs in the town center area of Disney Springs. Our first dish was the Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes, served with shaved ham, remoulade, and local greens. We found the fried green tomatoes to be a bit dry for our taste. Next, we tried the Hush Puppy Benedict, which consists of house-made hush puppy cakes topped with fried chicken tenders, poached eggs, griddled ham, and pimento hollandaise, along with a choice of one side. Unfortunately, it had an unusual, somewhat soapy flavor, possibly due to the hush puppy patties. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we might consider trying their dinner menu for a more comprehensive review. Let's see how it fares in our ratings and dive into some photos!
