The Beauty and the Beast Castle Build

Dear all,

In today's review, we will be exploring the Beauty and the Beast Castle set. This set offers builders the chance to construct the castle from the movie and recreate iconic scenes from the renowned 1991 film. Comprising 2,196 pieces, it is priced at $279.99. The building process starts with the famous staircase that Belle descends before meeting the Beast in the Grand Ballroom, providing a glimpse of the scenes that will be constructed later in the set. As you continue, you will build the castle's base, along with the walls and floor of the ground level. An intriguing feature is the gradual introduction of characters from the film as you complete each bag. The construction of the ballroom follows, where the award-winning song takes place with Belle and the Beast dancing. On the upper floors, you will build the "Be Our Guest" scene, complete with movable triggers that allow the centerpiece on the table to spin. In the higher spires of the castle, you will construct the West Wing, where the enchanted flower is located. The Beast minifigure in this set can be customized to display either the Beast's head or his human form. Overall, while the castle build can be challenging at times, constructing the scenes while re-watching the film evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. For fans of Beauty and the Beast, this set is likely a worthwhile purchase. For those on a budget or interested in building Disney Princess Castles, a miniature version of other castles are also available.
