Visiting The King At Grace Land

Hey all!

Today, we're off to the renowned Graceland! Although it wasn't originally in our itinerary, its closeness to Tunica allowed us to make the journey to Memphis. For those who don't know, Graceland is the home of Elvis Presley, one of the most iconic blues artists. Elvis was known for his vast collections, which included cars, planes, and much more. This is what makes Graceland special; besides touring Elvis's estate, there's a visitor center plaza that resembles a small downtown mall, featuring several museums showcasing all of Elvis's belongings. There's even an Elvis-themed hotel nearby, which is a four-star resort. Given its location and available space, it's impressive that Graceland has been transformed into a full-day attraction. There's plenty to see, so I'll describe the visit through the pictures below!

Welcome To Graceland! There is a lot beyond these gates!

Before You Head off to the Graceland Estate, You go through a district of other museum exhibits, restaurants, and more!

We now head through the doors of the Kings Home (Not the Best Picture, I promise the pictures get better though)

This is the Entry Way as You Enter the Graceland Estate. I love the stained glass flamingos!

A Closer look at the Living Room

Here is one of the bedrooms. One thing to note is the attention to detail on preserving as much of the interior decor as possible from the Kings Life

Its crazy to think this was the style back in the day

Could you imagine having three TV's in a room at once? Especially how expensive these TV's were back then?

Every Area of this house is like going through a different themed room

This Room has very unique wooden carved furniture

A Unique Coffee Table as well!

Elvis also had a pretty large backyard

Here is one of the most famous High School Diplomas To Ever exist

There is Captain Elvis with the Memphis Police

Of course... Elvis had a pool

Elvis also had a club house

With his own raquet ball court

Elvis and some of his family members were laid to rest in this courtyard

IT really is a beautiful memorial area

All The grounds are maintained like he is still living here

We now leave the estate and return back to the other exhibits

Now Lets check out some of Elvis's Cars

This whole exhibit is a classic car enthusiasts dream.

This is a rather unique car

Now were getting into some of the sports cars

They have a Pink Fleetwood Cadillac!

A 1966 Harley Davidson Chopper

You Can even go on a interactive virtual Golfcart ride around Graceland

Its An Elvis Wrapped Race Car!

There is also a music artist exhibit

There's a lot of reflection coming off that suit jacket!

They have a ton of Elvis and Graceland merch in the gift shops. I had to get this for my Grandmother, who is a big Elvis fan.
