Today, we will be reviewing the Young Simba Lion King Lego Set (#43247).

In honor of the 30th anniversary of The Lion King, LEGO has introduced two buildable Simba models: a display sculpture for adults and a play model for children. Our focus is on the adult version, a 1,445-piece masterpiece that stands over 11.5 inches tall and is priced at $129.99. Designed as an impressive centerpiece for fans of Disney animation, it boasts intricate SNOT engineering and Technic framing. The face is meticulously crafted with layered parts for the snout, jaw, and ears, while a dual ball-joint in the chest enables realistic head movement. The paws are highlighted with curved tiles and innovative recoloring. This display piece is fixed in a sitting position, with a slightly swiveling head and a swinging tail tip. Care should be taken when assembling the head to prevent fragility. This set provides a premium nostalgic centerpiece for enthusiasts of The Lion King.
