This year, they attend the county fair as adults. However, a larger world exists, one that ignores rural life and harbors malevolent monsters. After their world is destroyed, ten refugees fight to survive, confronting a new, harsher reality following the Immersion.

The lore is straightforward yet unique. They must decide whom to trust and where to go, forming new friendships while prioritizing safety. Revenge feels justified after their trials.
L.R. Maley maintains the characters' core traits, ensuring empathy through detailed storytelling. Set in a time of lords, knights, and bards, the narrative style makes you feel as though you're listening to a bard's enchanting tale.
