A Hoot and Holler At Whispering Canyon Cafe

Hey all!

This morning, we're enjoying breakfast at the renowned Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge. This place can be best described as offering western cuisine with a touch of playful sarcasm. By this, I mean you get family-style meals served right at your table, and if you ever ask for ketchup, the waitstaff makes an announcement for it! All the kids in the restaurant then bring every ketchup bottle they can find to your table. So, expect this kind of playful antics while dining here. The restaurant is entertaining in many ways, and their witty remarks are always good-natured. That's what makes this place unique. Our waitress was fantastic and joked with us throughout our dining experience. We ordered the "All You Care To Eat Heritage Skillet" for our table. This included house-made buttermilk-cheddar biscuits, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, and Mickey waffles. All the food on the platter tasted great and fresh. They also accommodated my special needs sister's dietary restrictions, as Disney is known for. Overall, we have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years and will continue to come back!
