Aire Force One Is Heading To Six Flags Magic Mountain!

In an unexpected turn of events, Six Flags confirmed that ArieForce One will be relocated to Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Prior to the announcement, industry speculation heavily favored regional destinations like Kings Island, Six Flags Great Adventure, or Carowinds. Instead, Six Flags selected a park that already features two distinct RMC installations: Wonder Woman Flight of Courage (single-rail) and Twisted Colossus (hybrid rebuilding of the classic woodie). Because ArieForce One is an all-steel RMC layout, its track profile and ride dynamics heavily mirror those of Twisted Colossus, making the addition a unique strategic play.

Several factors likely influenced this decision:

  1. Media Strategy: Steering news coverage away from recent legal developments involving X2 and operational fallout from the Six Flags Over Georgia incident.

  2. Baja Ridge Redevelopment: The rumored removal of Viper, which would liberate substantial land for ArieForce One's footprint.

  3. Plaza Density: Expanding into the parking lot space directly alongside Scream and Twisted Colossus.

  4. LA 2028: Capitalizing on the global exposure and massive tourist influx expected for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

While everyday park guests might not distinguish between two high-intensity steel RMC layouts during a single visit, this placement will serve as a compelling industry case study for years to come.
