All You Can Eat Sushi at Sushi Oishii!

Hey all!

Today, we tried out the newly opened Sushi Oishii in Sterling Heights, MI! This spot features an All-You-Can-Eat Japanese menu with a 90-minute time limit.

It’s already super popular, so we recommend arriving as early as possible—the wait list can easily reach two hours! Dinner runs about $35 per adult, which is pretty standard for all-you-can-eat Japanese places in the area.

Fun fact: The restaurant took over the old Abuelo’s building that closed over a decade ago. Much of the original layout remains, just updated with subtle Japanese accents.

For service, you place orders directly through a table tablet or physical menu. The sushi came out impressive and fast! However, ordering hot dishes like ramen or hibachi took significantly longer and ate right into our 90-minute limit.

Overall Verdict: It was a neat experience and worth checking out if you're in town craving all-you-can-eat sushi, but it's likely a "one-and-done" visit for us.

Check out our photos from the meal below!
