California's Great America To Close At The End Of The 2027 Season!

It’s official: California’s Great America confirmed on their social channels that the park will close permanently following the 2027 season. The decision traces back to a pre-pandemic deal in which the park’s parent company sold the land to Prologis, a San Francisco industrial real estate investment trust. Thrill-seekers have just one more season to experience the park's top attractions before it is demolished to make way for industrial facilities. Seeing another beloved theme park close is a tough blow for fans, and hopefully, we won't see more parks follow suit anytime soon.
