Everything is Dead... I Think? at the Field Natural History Museum

Hey all!
Today, we are visiting the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, Illinois. Although we initially intended to start our day at the Shedd Aquarium, we could only get an entry time for 1:00 pm. We've toured several Smithsonian museums in Washington D.C. before, and this museum is just as impressive. We began our historical journey with a taxidermy exhibit in the museum's basement, featuring unique displays from a taxidermy buffalo to a narwhal. We found the first level somewhat sparse, but the exhibits on the main and second levels seemed almost endless. You can see virtually every taxidermied animal imaginable, and the museum also houses the original head of the Sue dinosaur skeleton. There is so much to discover in this museum, and you could easily spend an entire day exploring all the different halls. As always with our museum reports, we will let the pictures do the talking!
