Howdy!
Tonight, we're dining at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Rivera! Situated atop Disney's Riviera Resort, this restaurant offers a character breakfast in the morning and transforms into a sophisticated dining experience with Italian and French cuisine in the evening. Due to its upscale atmosphere, it's advisable to wear at least a collared shirt. Once seated, we reviewed the menu and selected our appetizer. We ordered The Ricotta, which featured Tomato Jam, Aged Balsamic, Cracked Pepper, Basil, and House Bread. We loved the Tomato Jam, and the Ricotta was incredibly flavorful—some of the best we've ever had. Next, we chose our entrées. The first entrée was the Duck à l'Orange, which included Duck, Escarole, Chicken Jus, Lemon Vinaigrette, Fingerling Potatoes, and Heirloom Tomatoes. This dish lived up to its online reviews with its excellent flavor and presentation! The second entrée we tried was the Classic Sole Meunière, featuring Fish, Capers, Baby Squash, Asparagus, and Petite Potatoes. Once again, this dish was a hit! The fish was perfectly cooked, and the vegetable medley nicely complemented the meal. After our amazing meal, we shared a dessert. We chose the Apricot Glazed Cheesecake, which included cheesecake with sweet plums pickled with Amaro Averna and a Chestnut Sable. This was a fantastic conclusion to our meal, being the best dessert we've had on Disney property! Overall, we loved Topolino's Terrace, and it's a must-do fine dining experience if you're looking for a special evening after the parks. Additionally, you get amazing views of the fireworks at night from Epcot, and you might see some fireworks from Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! With that, let's dive into the review!
