Today, we’re taking a look at the Restaurants of the World: Mexico Taqueria LEGO set (#40907). This model was originally released as an exclusive Gift with Purchase on qualifying LEGO orders of $180 or more. We missed out during the initial promo window, and because of its limited availability, it commands a pretty high price on eBay—around $100! It’s a good reminder to jump on these GWPs while they’re live if you want to avoid secondary market markup.

As for the build itself, it moves along quickly and features clever construction techniques—most notably the vibrant overhead banners tucked beneath the roofline and the stylized taco sign mounted above the stand. On the playability side, the included minifigure comes equipped with a fun set of kitchen utensils and accessories.

When displayed alongside the Japan set, it makes for a fantastic pair that looks right at home on a kitchen shelf!
