Stay' N Dry At The Shedd Aquarium

Hey all!

Today, we're in the Windy City, also known as Chicago! We visited the Field Museum of Natural History earlier because it was sold out until 1:00 pm. We had been to the aquarium some time ago but didn't remember much, so we're getting a refresher now! Upon arrival and passing through security, we started in the large atrium, which features a fish tank divided into two halves, allowing us to view two separate tanks. This was interesting, but taking photos was challenging due to the crowd. Next, we explored an Amazon/tropical area with various fish from that region, which also had some thematic elements. We then went downstairs to see the deep-water aquariums, which housed jellyfish and other deep-sea creatures. Everywhere we went, it was quite crowded and a bit overwhelming due to the aquarium's narrow walkways. As it got busier, we quickly checked out the tank/amphitheater area, where a white beluga was held, and then we left. Overall, we were not impressed by this aquarium, especially considering the price. Don't get me wrong, the aquarium does have some unique exhibits, but for being around 60 dollars a person and also not having all the exhibits open, the price was a little steep. Nonetheless, let's dive into the photo report!
