The Double Trouble - Double Vision Foreigner & Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert
Hey all!
Tonight, we're at the Double Trouble - Double Vision Tour featuring Foreigner and Lynyrd Skynyrd! It was a completely sold-out show, so lawn seating was packed and finding a good view was a challenge, but we still made the absolute best of it.
Foreigner hit the stage first. Even without their primary frontman for most of the set, they put on a pretty solid performance. There was a brief moment where the singer got a bit too preachy, but when he sang, he sounded great. The real highlight was when original singer Lou Gramm joined them on stage—he was okay, though you could tell age has caught up with him, which was definitely expected. They powered through incredible hits like "Double Vision," "Hot Blooded," "Dirty White Boy," and more.
Lynyrd Skynyrd followed next and also delivered a commendable set considering their legendary status and age. While they weren't moving around the stage like they used to back in their prime, their vocals and guitar work were remarkably solid and had the whole crowd completely engaged. They played all the timeless classics, including "Free Bird," "Gimme Three Steps," and "Sweet Home Alabama."
Overall, both legendary acts put on a great show, and it was truly special to see icons take the stage who paved the way for so many bands after them.
