The Fisher Theater, accommodating 2,089 seats, mainly features Broadway in Detroit productions. Constructed in 1928 alongside the Fischer building, its interior showcases an Art Deco style, embellished with limestone, granite, various marbles, large chandeliers, and intricate ceiling artwork. The theater offers concession food and a full-service bar in the lobby. Guests can opt for premium seating in the luxurious Fisher Lounge or the Ambassador Lounge, where they can enjoy a charcuterie board, one alcoholic beverage before the show, and another during intermission, which also includes a dessert. For the best view at the Fisher, the optimal seats are in the center, about four or five rows back, providing a complete view of the stage. Balcony seats are also favorable, but it's advisable to sit as close to the balcony edge as possible to avoid an obstructed view. If you're a Broadway enthusiast living nearby, season tickets are available. Overall, the Fisher Theater is an excellent venue for enjoying any of the Broadway in Detroit programming. Checkout out some of the photos our team has taken of the venue as well as some of the stage set ups for the shows!
