The House of Blues Chicago Concert Experience
The House of Blues in downtown Chicago, Illinois, serves as a concert venue conveniently located near various dining options and also offers on-site dining before the show. With a seating capacity exceeding 1,850, the venue provides three viewing options for concerts: general admission with standing room only, bar rail seating available for an additional charge, and Mezzanine/Balcony seating that overlooks the main floor for those willing to invest more. For a Club/VIP experience, the Foundation Room offers an upscale club atmosphere, premium food, and pre-show gatherings for an additional fee. Overall, our experience with the venue was less than satisfactory. The concert area is situated on the second floor, while the House of Blues Restaurant is on the first. The space is rather cramped, making it challenging to view the stage from the general admission area. Although the decor is intriguing, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.
