The Museum of BBQ in Kansas City

Hey all!

Today, we visited the Museum of BBQ at Crown Center in Kansas City!

This interactive museum dives into the history of BBQ, explains the cooking processes behind different regional barbecue styles, and showcases the many varieties of BBQ found across the United States. One of the highlights was the giant bean ball pit that visitors can jump into, along with several mini games inspired by classic backyard BBQ activities.

At the end of the experience, there’s also a gift shop where you can purchase a variety of BBQ sauces and themed items to take home. Overall, this was definitely worth the stop if you are visiting the Kansas City area and offered a pretty good value for everything included in the experience.
