The Safe House - Milwaukee

Hey all!

Today, I'm checking out a truly unique speakeasy-style bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin: The Safe House.

This place stands out because it's completely spy and secret agent-themed! To get in, you either need the secret password or you have to perform silly exercises outside the door to prove your trustworthiness—while fellow secret agents watch your every move on hidden cameras from inside the bar.

Once you finally make it inside, you can grab a drink, order some food, and soak in the incredible atmosphere. The entire venue is packed with secret agent references ranging from James Bond to Archer. You might even find yourself sent on a classified mission to complete tasks throughout the restaurant!

For my drink, I ordered the Sterling Archer cocktail, made with Ketel One vodka, Rothman & Winter Orchard Pear, lemon, sugar, and Bittercube Jamaica #2 bitters. It offered a great balance of bitter and sweet flavors and was quite tasty. After finishing our drink, we explored more of the hideout before heading out.
