Tim Mcgraw's Pawn Shop Guitar Tour!

Hey all!

Tonight, we’re out at Pine Knob Music Theatre for Tim McGraw’s Pawn Shop Guitar Tour. We scored our tickets through StubHub and realized they came with Ivy Club VIP access, which grants entry to the VIP lounge. We decided to check it out—and needless to say, we were never served. Even after trying to flag someone down for drinks for 40 minutes, we got nothing and ended up heading out to regular concessions instead. To be fair, the club isn't anything special anyway, and the food options are pretty much identical to what you get out on the concourse.

We caught the tail end of 49 Winchester, and they put on a really solid performance, playing recognizable tracks like "Changes" and "Bluebird."

Tim McGraw took a little while to take the stage, but once he arrived, he brought an incredible amount of energy and sounded just as good as he does on his studio albums. One of the absolute highlights of the night was when he handed a pawn-shop guitar right to a kid in the crowd—such a cool, unforgettable moment. His stage setup was fairly standard, but that's pretty much par for the course for a country concert. He rolled through favorites like "I Like It, I Love It," "Mexicoma," "Live Like You Were Dying," and many more. Overall, he delivered a fantastic performance and proved he still lives up to his legacy as one of modern country music's original icons.
