Train! Tour At Pine Knob
Hey all!
Tonight, we’re out at Pine Knob Music Theatre for Train’s 25th Anniversary of the Drops of Jupiter: 25 Years In The Atmosphere Tour!
Matt Nathanson took the stage first, and while I wasn't familiar with him at first, I was pleasantly surprised to learn he wrote "Come On Get Higher," which he delivered with a fantastic performance. The crowd was completely locked in from the start, and with a sold-out venue, everyone was shoulder-to-shoulder on the lawn enjoying the high-energy atmosphere.
Barenaked Ladies were up next, and they were a massive step up from when we caught them live last year. They brought incredible energy, packed plenty of humor into their set, and had the whole crowd singing along to hits like "If I Had $1,000,000" and "One Week."
Once Train hit the stage, they brought the night to its ultimate peak. They ran through a phenomenal lineup of hits from Drops of Jupiter, and Pat Monahan even brought his son on stage for a song, making for a truly unique moment. The energy never dipped for a second. Overall, we would definitely jump at the chance to see both Train and Barenaked Ladies again the next time they're on tour!
