Under The Sea at Michigan's Sea Life Aquarium

Hey all!
Today, we are visiting the Sea Life Aquarium at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills, MI. When the mall first opened, this area housed a large video arcade owned by Sega, called Game Works. After Game Works closed in 2010, Sea Life took over the space and is now known as the largest aquarium in the state. Once we purchased our tickets, we went straight inside. The aquarium was hosting an Animal Crossing scavenger hunt, where participants who found all the Animal Crossing characters throughout the facility and collected all the stamps received a patch at the end. Notable features of this aquarium included exhibits showcasing the fish of the Great Lakes, a stingray exhibit where you can touch stingrays, and an underwater tunnel that goes through one of the tanks with many different species of fish. Overall, despite being a smaller aquarium and showing some wear and tear, it is a decent place for the space they have and is worth checking out if you're heading north on I-75.
