Howdy!
Today, we will be dining at Space 220 in Epcot. This restaurant is situated right next to the Mission Space attraction. When you check in for your meal, you are directed to an elevator that transports you up to the restaurant in space. This elevator serves as a mini attraction itself, simulating a journey up a space elevator. Upon arriving at the restaurant, you'll notice its large windows offering views of space. You might even spot some astronauts outside the windows as your ship orbits Earth. After being seated, we ordered drinks first. Our first drink we chose was the Moon Rocks drink, which included Lemon Juice, Blue Cotton Candy Syrup, Coconut, Pineapple Juice, and a bag of Pop Rocks. The drink was quite sweet, yet tasty! The Second drink we had was the Starship Lemonade, which had Strawberry, Watermelon, Lemonade and lemonade with a Glow Cube! We then ordered our small eats (Due to eating at the lounge) and first got the Apollo 16 Shrimp tacos, which had Marinated Shrimp, Tomatoes, Shallots and a Crispy Wonton Shell. The second thing we got was their Starry Calamari, which had Italian Cherry Peppers, Spicy Marinara, Roasted Pepper Citrus Aioli. Both of these meals were pretty good, however for the price of what you got, it was a little steep. Overall, Space 220 is a unique experience that has some pretty neat theming and is worth trying once. Lets dive into some of the pictures!
