A Fantastic Meal At Morimoto Asia

Howdy!

Tonight, we're dining at Morimoto Asia! This restaurant is led by the renowned Chef Masaharu Morimoto, known globally for his interpretations of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisine. We kicked off with some appetizers, starting with the 3-piece Morimoto Spare Ribs, featuring pork ribs, cilantro, and a hoisin sweet chili glaze. Our second appetizer choice was the Pork Eggrolls, containing pork, cabbage, and an apricot sweet chili sauce. Both appetizers were excellent, and we have no complaints!

Our first entree was the Morimoto Peking Duck for two, which includes a whole house-roasted duck, apricot chili, hoisin miso, and offers a selection of steamed flour tortillas, bao buns, lettuce cups, and either white or brown rice. The duck was perfectly roasted, and the bao buns we chose were delightful and perfect for biting into. The second dish we ordered was the Beef Lo Mein Noodles, consisting of stir-fried noodles, beef tenderloin, napa cabbage, carrot, bean sprout, mushroom, and scallions. This dish was another favorite, with the noodles nicely complementing the vegetables and tenderloin. Our third dish was the Orange Chicken, featuring tempura chicken, Chinese broccoli, and was wok-tossed with a sweet Florida orange sauce. We loved the flavor of the orange sauce on the chicken, and it's some of the best we've ever tasted. The fourth dish we enjoyed in our party was the Mongolian Beef, which included a 10 oz certified angus beef tenderloin, wok-sautéed scallion, bean sprout, mixed mushroom, and sweet Szechuan sauce poured tableside. The filet was cooked to our liking, and the sweet Szechuan sauce really enhanced the flavors of this dish! Overall, the meal we had here was phenomenal and might possibly be my favorite restaurant at Disney Springs! The open atmosphere with modern East Asian touches, along with the cuisine, really makes this place a top destination to eat at Disney Springs. With that, let's dive into some photos of what we had!
