Beyond The Broth At Ginza Ramen!
Hey all!
Today, we’re heading to Ginza Ramen in Clinton Township, Michigan—the second location following their original spot in Rochester Hills. I’ll kick things off with a bold claim: I frequent this place often because it serves up some of, if not the, best ramen in the state.
Stepping up to the storefront, you’re greeted by realistic display models of the ramen and dishes in the window, a brilliant touch straight out of the streets of Japan. Inside, the atmosphere is open, airy, and bright, creating a welcoming and comfortable vibe. We especially love the striking cherry blossom tree anchoring the back of the dining room.
We kicked off the meal with the Galaxy-Ade Punch, a vibrant mocktail that tastes like a bubbly, elevated version of Powerade and is fantastic across the board. Next came the Gyoza, crisp Japanese dumplings packed with seasoned ground beef and vegetables that hit the spot while we waited for our mains.
For entrees, we shared the Chicken Katsu roll, featuring chicken katsu, crab sticks, mayo, tamago (egg), and cucumber rolled together with rice and seaweed—a creative, well-blended fusion of flavors. I ordered the Beef Udon, a hearty bowl featuring thick noodles, shaved beef, green onion, a marinated egg, and a slice of lemon in a deeply savory beef broth. The broth was incredibly flavorful with a wonderfully comforting depth, and I paired it with a side of crispy Chicken Katsu to complete the meal.
If you are hunting for top-tier noodles in the Metro Detroit area, Ginza Ramen needs to be on your radar.
