Hey all!

Good morning from Disney’s Beach Club Resort! Today, we kicked off our park day with one of our absolute favorite traditions: breakfast at Cape May Cafe.

If you are looking for a fun, high-energy way to start your morning before walking over to EPCOT or catching the Disney Skyliner over to Hollywood Studios, this character-dining experience is hard to beat. The atmosphere leans heavily into a relaxed, charming New England seaside vibe, meaning the dress code is wonderfully casual—no fuss required, just come ready to eat and have fun.

Cape May Cafe hosts a fantastic character breakfast where you get guaranteed face time and wonderful photo opportunities with some of your favorite Disney pals: Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Minnie Mouse—all dressed in their adorable, custom beach attire. One of the highlights of the meal is the interactive portion of the morning, where children are invited to join in on a high-energy "air surfing" competition across the restaurant with the characters. It's an absolute blast for the kids and makes for some priceless vacation memories.

The food is served buffet-style in an all-you-care-to-enjoy format, giving you plenty of options to fuel up for a long day in the parks. The spread features an incredible variety of morning classics and coastal-inspired treats:

The House Favorite: You simply cannot skip the famous Salted Caramel Beach Buns, served warm with a side of decadent vanilla cream. They are an absolute game-changer!
Breakfast Staples: Fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and savory sausage.
Carving Station: Hearty, freshly carved meats including a delicious glazed ham.
Made-to-Order Omelets: A custom station where you can pick your favorite fillings.

Cape May Cafe remains a staple on our itinerary every single time we head down to Disney. Between the laid-back beach atmosphere, the fun character interactions, and a sprawling buffet that leaves everyone completely stuffed, it is the ultimate way to jump-start a magical park day.
