Bruno Mars: The Romantic Tour

Hey all!

This evening, we're at Ford Field for the Bruno Mars: Romantics Tour. The concert tickets were quite pricey, with upper and lower bowl seats costing over $300 during both presale and main sale, which was out of our budget. However, I managed to get club seats for over $100 less via Vivid Seats and the PayPal Pay4 plan. Upon arrival, staff directed us to the club level, where our seats provided access to a private concession, lounge, and bar area, which was very pleasant. This setup is perfect for those who feel uneasy in the larger crowds in other parts of the stadium. The show kicked off with the opening act, DJ Pee Wee. I was initially unsure about a DJ performance, but Pee Wee was very entertaining and kept the crowd's energy high and engaged. Overall, he was great! Leon Thomas was the second opening act and he was also quite good. His music was a bit too somber for our taste, but overall, he was still pretty good. Now Bruno Mars... Wow, was he impressive. We had never seen a performer dance as if he were floating on air. His performance was tight, his band was tight, and everything was flawless from start to finish. Honestly, you don't even have to be a big Bruno Mars fan to enjoy this concert. His showmanship, the dancing, and his Hooligans band backing him up were like watching something that seemed impossible without Hollywood effects. From start to finish, his sets were filled with flair and surprise, including rolling out on a classic car onto the stage and dancing on top of it. If Bruno Mars comes to your town and you're deciding whether to make it your big concert spend for the year... You must go see him! You won't regret it!
