Dining In The West End at City Works

Hello! Today, we're dining at City Works - Eatery and Pour House! This restaurant offers a diverse selection of craft beers and a sports bar vibe, complete with numerous TVs for watching your favorite sports throughout the venue. We started with the 1871 Chili, which included Angus steak, milk stout, pork, chipotle peppers, sour cream, red onions, and a cornbread muffin. The Chili was certainly unique, but honestly, I found it a bit too complex.

Next, we moved on to our entrees. First, we ordered the Mahi Mahi taco, featuring cornmeal beer-battered mahi-mahi, chipotle coleslaw, pico de gallo, cilantro lime cream, micro cilantro, flour tortillas, and served with tortilla chips and salsa roja. We had no complaints, and the fish paired well with the cilantro lime cream. The second entree we ordered was the Ahi Tuna Tacos, with tortillas filled with poke-style tuna, Asian slaw, avocado, pickled Fresno chilies, sesame ginger vinaigrette, and black sesame seeds. This might be exotic for some readers, but if you love tuna and veggies, this is for you! Overall, this is a lively place, and we enjoyed our meals and would return here in the future. Now let's dive into pictures of the cuisine below!
