Hello all!
This evening, we're dining at the River Crab on the St. Clair River. The restaurant offers stunning views of the river and Canada across the shore, along with exceptional cuisine! Once seated, we were served bread, featuring thin crispy slices and small rolls, accompanied by sculpted salted butter and salmon pâté for spreading. The bread was excellent, and the butter perfectly complemented both the bread and the crisps. We then ordered an appetizer, their Baked Ricotta, which came with a honey drizzle, pepper jelly, crostini, and a strawberry and arugula garnish. It was incredibly satisfying, and we both agreed it was very addictive. For our meals, we ordered the Cajun Chicken Tortellini and Lemon Scented Salmon. The Chicken Tortellini included blackened chicken, mushrooms, cilantro, grape tomatoes, and a cream sauce, while the Lemon Scented Salmon featured a lemon rub, blueberry corn salad, lemonade glaze, and cilantro lime rice. We both agreed the meal was phenomenal, and the presentation was artistic. We wanted dessert, but we were too full. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for a special occasion. You get great river views, live piano music on some nights, and food that feels like fine dining. Definitely check this place out if you're near the Port Huron area or on your way to crossing the Blue Water Bridge to Canada! Now, let's dive into the photos of the cuisine!
