Kingda Ka: The King Of Coaster Closes Forever And More

Confirmation of the long-standing rumors came on Monday: the current tallest rollercoaster in the world has officially ceased operations. The ride, which soared to a height of 456 feet and reached a top speed of 128 miles per hour thanks to its unique hydraulic launch system, has closed permanently. Six Flags has announced plans for a new record-breaking rollercoaster to take its place.

Additionally, several other rides that were relatively unnoticed are also permanently closing, including the Green Lantern Stand Up Roller, The Twister, The Parachute Drop, Zumanjaro, and the Sky Way. This series of closures may have a significant impact on the theme park community, but only time will tell what the future holds.
