Rapterra Lands At Kings Dominion in 2025

Kings Dominion revealed their new attraction for 2025 today, called Rapterra. This innovative wing rollercoaster will be replacing the former Volcano: The Blast Coaster.

The journey will commence by entering a specially designed launch track adorned with ancient columns, accelerating from 0 to 65mph in just four seconds. Subsequently, the ride will ascend into a 145ft wing over turn, followed by a thrilling Dive loop. It will then navigate through an S-turn, execute a "Wing Slide" maneuver, and conclude with a flat spin corkscrew. The climax of the ride will feature an air time hill, a 360-degree roll, and finally transition into the brakes..

Once the ride is opens, it will hold the title of being the tallest and longest launched wing rollercoaster in the world. We are excited to observe the construction progress during the winter season and will provide extensive coverage.
