Rogers Roost In Sterling Heights, MI

Hey all!

Today, we are dining at Rogers Roost! This restaurant is unique for its quirky theming filled with odd oddities. There is stuff hanging from the ceiling, statues that make odd noises, and you even get popcorn with your meal in place of bread service. This really is a hidden, unique gem of themed dining that many do not know about, even though it has been here in the community for many years.

When we sat in our booth, we were given a basket of popcorn to start. For our entrees, we ordered the Godfather Calzone, which had Italian sausage, pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, and mozzarella cheese, and was served with a side of marinara. We also ordered the Italian Classic Calzone, which featured ham, salami, mozzarella cheese, onions, tomatoes, and yellow peppers, served with a side of Italian dressing.

Both sandwiches were really good and are a decent size. If you like leftovers, there is a good chance these calzones are big enough that you might not be able to finish them all in one sitting. Overall, we loved our experience and will definitely be back to try more of the food and get more pictures of the decor!
