Savoring The Flavors at Jaleo

Howdy!


Tonight, we're dining at Jaleo in Disney Springs! Jaleo, founded by Chef Jose Andres, offers authentic Spanish cuisine such as tapas, paella, sangria, and more! The restaurant's decor showcases a charming color palette of red, orange, and yellow. In this dining review, we'll detail all the dishes organized by meals and small plates, courtesy of our large group. Explore the descriptions of what we ordered below!


Once seated, we made the following orders during our dining experience!


Pan con Tomate con Jamón y Queso, featuring a piece of toasted bread, crushed tomato, a thin slice of cured ham, and a shaving of cheese.


Opinion: The Pan con Tomate con Jamón y Queso was delightful, with an ideal harmony of bread, tomato, ham, and cheese.

Cono de Salmón Crudo con Huevas de Trucha - a small, crispy cone made of brik pastry filled with salmon tartare and topped with trout roe.


Opinion: The Cono de Salmón Crudo con Huevas de Trucha offered a distinct flavor, and we thoroughly enjoyed the crispiness and taste of the brik pastry.

Pan de Cristal con Manchego - Toasted pan de cristal rubbed with fresh tomato, Manchego Pasamontes, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and usually a pinch of black pepper and herbs


Opinion: The Pan de Cristal con Manchego offered a delectable flavor, combining pan de cristal smeared with fresh tomato and Manchego Pasamontes.

Pimientos del Piquillo Rellenos de Queso de Cabra - Piquillo peppers, whipped with goat cheese, served with a warm red pepper sauce


Opinion: The Pimientos del Piquillo Rellenos de Queso de Cabra had a nice spice and was complemented well with the red pepper sauce.

Ensalada de hinojo con manzana y nueces - Fennel, apple walnuts, Manchego, and sherry like dressing


Opinion: The Ensalada de hinojo con manzana y nueces was a highly flavorful salad, and we really enjoyed the sherry-like dressing.

Endivias con queso de cabra y naranjas - Leaves of Belgian endive, sweet orange, crumbled goat cheese, sliced almonds and finished with a roasted garlic vinaigrette.


Opinion: The Endivias con queso de cabra y naranjas reminded us of a lettuce wrap, but it featured a delightful combination of sweet orange, and the sliced almonds provided a texture we adored.

Patatas Bravas - Fried potato cubes, Salsa Brava, with Alioli dallops on top.


Opinion: Patatas Bravas is a renowned Spanish dish we've always been eager to try. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, and we loved the Salsa Brava.

Croquetas de Pollo - Spanish Chicken Fritters made with a creamy béchamel


Opinion: The Croquetas de Pollo were delicious and full of flavor, and the adorable pillow-like presentation dish they were served on added to the charm.

Carne asada con piquillos confitados - A 6oz thinly sliced flat iron steak accompanied by a confit piquillo pepper and a reduction made from the peppers' roasting juices blended with olive oil.


Opinion: The Carne asada con piquillos confitados included a steak prepared to our liking, and the reduction of the roasted pepper juices significantly elevated the dish's taste.

Gambas al ajillo - shrimp cooked in a sizzling bath of extra virgin olive oil flavored with sliced garlic and guindilla peppers, finished with a sherry sauce.


Opinion: The Gambas al ajillo showcased shrimp that was cooked to perfection, with a blend of ingredients that genuinely elevated its taste.

Flan mamá Marisa - A beloved choice at Jaleo, featuring a traditional egg custard topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce.


Opinion: The Flan mamá Marisa included a homemade custard with an amazing flavor, enhanced by its jello-like texture, caramel sauce, and whipped cream, making it one of the finest desserts we've ever had.

Overall, dining at Jaleo was a fantastic experience, and the staff was excellent! We believe it's one of the best meals we've had at Walt Disney World. If you find yourself in Disney Springs, be sure to try it!
