This morning brought unexpected news as Six Flags revealed in their latest press release that they will be selling the following parks:
Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, TX)
Michigan’s Adventure (Muskegon, MI)
Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, NY)
Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC)
Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, MO)
Valleyfair (Minneapolis, MN)
Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, MO)
Many of these parks have received minimal investment from the parent company in the past, which might present new opportunities with their new operator, Enchanted Park. Enchanted Parks consists of former Disney employees who have established a company focused on acquiring parks to form a new chain of theme parks. According to a recent social media post by Enchanted Park, they are eager to unveil their ambitious plans for these newly acquired parks at a later date.
For the 2026 season, these parks are expected to function as usual, as if they were still part of the Six Flags chain. This means that Gold Season Passes, along with the parks' current season passes, meal plans, and all-season fast lanes, will remain valid.
We look forward to seeing what Enchanted Parks has in store for these parks.
