Silver Dollar City has officially announced its next major coaster: Miner’s Mountain Express, which will succeed the legendary Thunderation following its closure later this year.

Set to be built near Wildfire, the new attraction boasts 3,553 feet of track, two lift hills (standing at 97 feet and 69.5 feet), 15 airtime moments, and an accessible 39-inch height requirement.

Alongside the coaster comes Daredevil Pass, a newly designed land that seamlessly connects guests to major thrill rides like Wildfire, PowderKeg, and American Plunge. The area will be anchored by an authentic 15-story tower, claiming the title of the tallest point in Silver Dollar City.

Miner’s Mountain Express is shaping up to be an outstanding addition to the park, and coaster enthusiasts are eager to follow its construction and take their first ride next season!
