The Baby Metal 2026 World Tour!
Hey all!
Tonight, we made our way out to Pine Knob Music Theatre for the Babymetal 2026 Tour, with Halestorm featured as one of the openers. We claimed a prime spot right in dead center lawn, which gave us an incredible, clear view of the stage.
Getting there early paid off, as we were able to catch the opening act, Violent Vira. She put on a genuinely unique performance, and her set had a great energy that set a solid foundation for the rest of the night. By the time Halestorm hit the stage, the crowd was fully locked in. Lzzy Hale’s vocals were an absolute force—her powerful voice effortlessly carried across the entire hill and kept the energy sky-high.
Then Babymetal took the stage. Visually, the digital backdrops and stage set felt pretty standard, and honestly, we found ourselves missing the production value of their 2025 tour setup. The sound mix was also a bit rough around the edges—the low-end bass was heavily over tuned, and certain high vocal frequencies were pushed so hard that they became pretty grating as the night went on.
Despite the sound mixing issues, they still delivered crowd-pleasing staples like "Gimme Chocolate!!", "RATATATA", and "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!". The crowd stayed thoroughly engaged and hyped throughout the entire set. Overall, it was still a fun, high-energy show. If Babymetal rolls back into town, we’d definitely catch them again—though ideally in a more intimate, smaller venue next time around.
