Hey all!
This evening, we're visiting one of Michigan's most intriguingly odd and mysterious sites: The Mystery Spot. If you've ever traveled toward Northern Michigan, you've likely noticed the countless billboards promoting this famous roadside attraction. They do an excellent job of sparking your interest—so much so that you might find yourself crossing the Mighty Mac just to see it firsthand. That's exactly what we did! After an exhilarating, slightly nerve-wracking journey across the Mackinac Bridge, we took the first exit, made a right turn, and reached our destination.
Initially, it appears to be a typical tourist spot complete with mini-golf, a "Fun Fort," ziplines, and an ice cream shop. However, the real magic is found just beyond the gift shop. All tours of the actual Mystery Spot are guided, and our guide did an outstanding job explaining the history and demonstrating the mind-boggling ways gravity seems to malfunction here. We don't want to reveal all the secrets, but we've included some photos of our experience below so you can decide if you're daring enough to challenge gravity yourself. Join us for the adventure!
