Living The Sweet Life at Hershey Park
Hello everyone! Today, we're at Hershey Park, famously dubbed the "Sweetest Place On Earth"! It's been several years since our last visit, and our previous experience wasn't the best. Nonetheless, we're giving it another shot! We chose to splurge and booked a stay at the Hotel Hershey, then used the park's shuttle service to reach our destination. We arrived at the new Hershey's Chocolate Town and picked up our Fast Track Wristbands. Entering the park was easy, and Chocolate

A Day At Kings Dominion
Today, we find ourselves at the unique Kings Dominion (not to be mistaken for Kings Island). We kicked off our day by heading directly to the Jungle Expedition section of the park to try out the new wing coaster, Rapterra! As the latest attraction, it currently boasts the longest line in the park. The park has done a reasonable job theming the queue area with temple ruins and references to the Volcano coaster. However, once you reach the station, the theming is minimal. Rapte

A Wild Time At Six Flags Great Adventure
Today, we find ourselves at Six Flags Great Adventure as a stop on the 2022 rollercoaster east coast road trip. This park has been a long-awaited destination for me. I recall observing the construction of the world's tallest rollercoaster, Kingda Ka, on older amusement industry websites, and being fascinated by the design of Nitro when I played the classic game RollerCoaster Tycoon. Once we were through the park entrance, it was off to the first ride of the day, which was the

Nickelodeon Universe At The American Dream Mall
After spending the morning at Luna Park and Deno's Wonder Wheel Park, I am now at the American Dream Mall this evening to visit Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park. Due to the COVID pandemic, this park has been open less frequently than closed. Even when the park is open, most of the rides have been closed more often than not. We will see how this visit turns out. The Shredder At first, the intention was to start the day by riding TMNT Shell Raiser. Unfortunately, the ride was un

The Six Flags That's In New England
After spending the morning at Canobie Lake Park today, I headed to Six Flags New England, which was a few hours away, to try out some of the rides. Fortunately, upon my arrival, there were few people, indicating a promising day with a good chance of experiencing all the attractions. This park first of all has a very unique layout. Most of the park is in a straight line unless you are going down the hill towards Superman or are in the Mainstreet area of the park. The first rid

A Story Book Adventure At Six Flags Great Escape
Today, we are visiting Six Flags Great Escape in Lake George, NY. Initially established in 1954 as Story Book USA, this park was themed around Mother Goose. As time passed, the park underwent various transformations, introducing new themed sections and roller coasters, leading to a name change to Great Escape in 1983. Subsequently, it became part of the Six Flags chain, although it does not prominently feature the Six Flags branding. Located away from the main tourist area of

A Night At Darien Lake
Following a morning spent at Waldameer Park, I embarked on a 3-hour drive to reach my next park stop on my 2022 road trip. This next destination was Darien Lake in Darien Center, New York, situated just east of Buffalo. I would arrive to find the park pretty packed for the evening. I had quite a few roller coasters to hit in a limited amount of time so I had to be careful on time management for this visit. On tot he first rollercoaster, Ride of Steel. Ride of Steel Upon arriv

Living The Pirates Life At Casino Pier
Having been traveling for a few days on my yearly theme-park road trip, I opted to visit Casino Pier, my second seaside amusement park of the day and 9th park of the trip. I was surprised by the number of rides that this compact seaside park managed to fit into its limited space. Naturally, the main highlight of our visit was the renowned Pirates Hideaway, I mean, Hydrus. Hydrus, a unique Euro-Fighter roller coaster, is produced by Gerstlauer. It includes a 72-foot climb, a s

Kennywood! On My Mind
As Kennywood was the final park on the trip and I was visiting for the first time, I was optimistic that most of the rides would be operational. However, considering the past issues with Steel Curtain and Skyrocket, I was unsure if they would be available. I also wondered if I could ride Thunderbolt alone, which remained to be seen. One aspect worth mentioning about Kennywood is the challenge of reaching the park. Navigating the roads can be quite tricky as it is situated on
